Park Rules Park Berkenrhode

In addition to the General Terms and Conditions and RECRON conditions.

These park rules form an integral part of the rental agreement and apply to all guests and visitors of Park Berkenrhode. Compliance with these park rules is mandatory.

In case of violation of these park rules, disturbance of peace or safety, or failure to follow staff instructions, access to the park and/or the accommodation may be denied with immediate effect, without the right to a refund of paid accommodation costs.

1. Nature of the stay and duration

  • Park Berkenrhode is a holiday park and is intended exclusively for recreational stays.
  • Stays that are (partly) intended for (temporary) housing of personnel, project-based work, or as a base for regional work activities are not permitted.
  • The accommodation may not be used as a temporary housing solution.
  • A stay may last a maximum of three (3) consecutive weeks.
  • It is not permitted to circumvent this maximum duration by making multiple consecutive bookings (whether or not under different names) for the same group.
  • If it appears that the stay is not recreational in nature or violates the above provisions, the stay may be terminated prematurely without the right to a refund.

2. Peace and behavior

  • Quiet hours apply between 22:00 and 07:00. Noise disturbance, parties, or other disruptive behavior are not permitted. Every guest must respect the peace, safety, and privacy of others.
  • Organizing gatherings, events, or commercial activities is only allowed with prior written permission from the park management.
  • Instructions from staff must be followed immediately.

3. Occupancy and use of the accommodation

  • The maximum number of persons per accommodation may not be exceeded.
  • Subletting or allowing third parties to use the accommodation is not permitted.
  • The accommodation may only be used in accordance with its purpose as a recreational stay.

4. Safety and fire prevention

  • Smoking and the use of e-cigarettes (vaping) inside the accommodations is not permitted.
  • Violations of the smoking ban may result in additional cleaning and repair costs.
  • The use of deep fryers and tabletop grills indoors is not permitted.
  • Barbecuing is only allowed using gas, provided that the regional nature code is not orange or red. Charcoal is strictly prohibited regardless of the nature code.
    Lighting open fires (such as campfires or wood fires) is not permitted.
  • Electric vehicles may only be charged at designated charging stations.
  • It is not permitted to modify or overload electrical installations or facilities of the accommodation.

5. Fireworks

Park Berkenrhode is a fireworks-free park. The use of fireworks on the park is not permitted. Violations may result in immediate removal from the park without the right to a refund.

6. Traffic and parking

  • Walking speed is mandatory within the park.
  • Pedestrians always have priority.
  • Car traffic is allowed between 07:00 and 23:00. Exiting is always permitted.
  • Children are not allowed to use the parking area as a playground. Parents/guardians are responsible for supervision.

7. Drone usage

  • The use of drones on or above the park is not permitted without prior written permission from the park management.

8. Swimming pool and sunbathing area

  • The heated outdoor swimming pool and sunbathing area are accessible to park guests.
  • Use of the swimming pool and sunbathing area is at your own risk.
  • There is no permanent supervision.
  • Parents/guardians are at all times responsible for supervising minors.
  • Park Berkenrhode is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings at the pool or sunbathing area.

9. Ponds and water features

  • Entering ponds and other water features on the park is not permitted.

10. Play facilities

  • Playground equipment and play facilities are intended for children only.
  • Use of play facilities is at your own risk.
  • Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising their children.

11. Pets

  • Pets are only allowed if agreed upon in advance.
  • Pets are not allowed on beds or furniture.
  • Dogs must be kept on a leash within the park.
  • Pet waste must be cleaned up immediately.

12. Use of accommodation

  • Damage or defects must be reported immediately.
  • Moving furniture or inventory is not permitted.
  • Placing tents or other camping equipment on the plot is not allowed, except for small children's play tents.
  • Nudism is not permitted.

13. Waste

  • Waste must be separated and disposed of in designated containers.
  • The park distinguishes between paper, glass, green waste, and residual waste.
  • Household waste must be deposited in properly sealed bags.

14. Access and liability

  • Guests are liable for any damage they cause to the accommodation, inventory, or park grounds.
  • The park reserves the right to enter the accommodation in case of emergencies such as fire or leakage.
  • Park Berkenrhode is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to guests' belongings, unless caused by intent or gross negligence.

15. Final provision

In cases not covered by these park rules, the park management will decide, taking into account applicable laws and regulations as well as principles of reasonableness and fairness.
