The Heide Lodge with Sauna | 4 Persons is a detached, single-storey lodge that has been thoughtfully designed from the ground up. Built sustainably and completely gas-free, it comes with a private sauna right in the garden. Not as an afterthought, but as a natural part of how you unwind here. After a day out in the fresh forest air, you simply step outside and into your own warmth, no bookings, no other guests. At 55 m², the lodge comfortably accommodates four persons. The two bedrooms are fitted with quality box spring beds, and the bathroom features a generous walk-in shower. On warmer nights, the air conditioning keeps things cool.

The open-plan kitchen is well equipped with an induction hob, dishwasher, combination microwave and fridge-freezer. Both a Nespresso machine and a filter coffee maker are ready for your morning ritual. The living area has a corner sofa, a feature fireplace and a Smart TV with streaming, ideal for a relaxed evening in. Outside, a spacious furnished terrace connects to the garden, and your own parking space is right at the door. Dogs are very welcome, up to two per stay.

Park Berkenrhode: small-scale, genuine hospitality

Park Berkenrhode is a small, carefully managed holiday park on the edge of the Veluwe forest. The scale is intentional: fewer guests means more peace, and you feel that from the moment you arrive. Walking and cycling routes start directly from the park, and bike hire is available on site if you prefer to travel light. After a day of exploring, Brasserie Luwe is the park's own welcoming spot for lunch, a drink or a relaxed dinner.

Veluwe: where the forest sets the pace

The Veluwe is one of the Netherlands' most expansive natural areas, and staying at Park Berkenrhode puts you right in the middle of it. Dense pine forests, open heathland and sandy tracks that invite you to slow down and explore. Mornings bring birdsong, afternoons bring dappled shade, and evenings have that particular forest quiet that is hard to find elsewhere. Whether you are looking for long walks, leisurely bike rides or simply sitting outside with a coffee, the landscape here gives you room to breathe.

• Pets are welcome, maximum 2.
• Smoking, using a gourmet grill and fondue are not permitted in the Heide Lodge with Sauna | 4 Persons.
• Bedrooms and bathroom have electric heating. The air conditioning unit can also be used for heating.
• The bathroom is fitted with a water-saving shower head.
