After a day outdoors, the private sauna is waiting for you, ready after one to two hours of warm-up time whenever you choose. Park Berkenrhode is a small-scale holiday park at the edge of the forest, where the atmosphere is instantly noticeable the moment you arrive. Not a large resort, but a well-kept place where tranquillity and genuine hospitality come first. The park is home to Brasserie Luwe, a relaxed spot for breakfast, lunch, drinks or dinner. Cycling and walking routes start directly from the park, and with bike rental on site you can be out in nature within minutes. Practical facilities such as a launderette, Dog Wash, breakfast and bread roll delivery service and outdoor playgrounds make for an effortless stay for the whole group.
Park Berkenrhode borders the Veluwe, one of the largest nature reserves in the Netherlands. Vast forests, open heathlands and sand drifts define the landscape. Every season brings its own character: the fresh greens of spring, the full canopy of summer, the warm colours of autumn and the quiet bare branches of winter. Deer, wild boar and birds of prey are a common sight. Walking and cycling here happens at your own pace, along quiet paths that quickly give you the feeling of being miles away from everyday life.
