Spacious forest lodge with private sauna, enclosed garden and wood-burning fireplace.
The Bos Lodge 75 with Sauna | 4 persons is a detached, architecturally designed lodge of 75 m², situated right on the forest edge of Park Berkenrhode. Designed for four guests, this is a place where slowing down comes naturally. The generous living area invites you to settle in beside the gas fireplace, while the enclosed garden, fenced to around 90 cm, gives children and pets the freedom to roam. Up to two pets are warmly welcome.
Both bedrooms are fitted with comfortable box spring beds, each arranged as two singles placed together. The kitchen is well-equipped with premium built-in appliances, a fridge-freezer, combination microwave and dishwasher. The bathroom features a spacious walk-in shower and toilet; a second toilet adds everyday ease. Air conditioning keeps the lodge comfortable throughout the year and doubles as a heating system. The private sauna rounds everything off beautifully: after a day outdoors, warming up in your own sauna while the world quietly waits. Outside, a fully furnished terrace beneath the awning is the ideal spot for a relaxed evening.
Park Berkenrhode is an intimate holiday park on the edge of the forest, where genuine hospitality and tranquillity go hand in hand. The park is deliberately kept small, so it never feels crowded or impersonal. Walking and cycling routes start right outside your lodge, and bikes are available to hire on site. Brasserie Luwe is the cosy heart of the park, perfect for a leisurely lunch, an evening drink with a sharing board, or a relaxed dinner. Prefer a slow morning? The breakfast and bread roll delivery service means you can start the day well without leaving your lodge.
The Veluwe is one of the most beautiful natural areas in the Netherlands, and you are right in the middle of it. Dense woodland, open heathland and drifting sands create a landscape that shifts with every season. In the early morning, birdsong fills the trees, and if you are lucky you might spot a deer or wild boar passing through. Walking and cycling here feel less like activities and more like a natural rhythm. From the purple bloom of the heather in late summer to the quiet stillness of snow-covered forests in winter, the Veluwe offers a different experience every time you visit.
