Arrive, unpack and start the morning in your own hot tub

The Berken Lodge met Hottub & Sauna | 5 personen is the kind of place where holiday mode kicks in the moment you arrive. The lodge is detached, sustainably built and fully gas-free. Outside, a spacious furnished terrace with pergola, a private hot tub and your own sauna are waiting for you. Inside, everything feels calm and considered: an open kitchen with all built-in appliances, a generous living room with an electric decorative fireplace and a Smart TV ready for your own streaming services. There is plenty of room for five, with two bedrooms and comfortable box spring beds. One room has two beds pushed together, the other has a single bed and a bunk bed, making it a great fit for a family or a small group of friends.

The lodge is finished with care. The bathroom features a spacious walk-in shower with a water-saving showerhead, air conditioning keeps things comfortable on warm days and fly screens mean you can leave the windows open. Free WiFi, a filter coffee maker, kettle, plates and cutlery: everything is in place so you have nothing left to arrange on arrival. Up to 2 pets are very welcome. The lodge is located in the Heide Heuvel area or elsewhere on the park. A preferred location can be booked at an additional cost. Please note: garden layout, interior design and colour scheme may differ from the images shown on the website. The level of comfort is the same across all lodges.

Park Berkenrhode: small-scale, warm and close to nature

Park Berkenrhode is a small, intimate holiday park at the edge of the forest, where a calm atmosphere and genuine hospitality set the tone. The park has a manageable number of accommodations, making it easy to feel at home quickly. From your lodge, you step straight into nature for a walk or a bike ride. Rent a bicycle through the park and explore at your own pace. After an active day, you can settle in at Brasserie Luwe, the park's welcoming brasserie for lunch, drinks or dinner. The park also offers a heated outdoor swimming pool, outdoor playgrounds, a laundry room, Dog Wash, cafeteria and a breakfast and bread roll delivery service. E-choppers, electric scooters and mobility scooters are available for hire on the park.

Veluwe: forests, silence and fresh air

The Veluwe is one of the most beautiful nature areas in the Netherlands, and you are right in the middle of it. Vast forests, open heathlands and sand drifts alternate throughout the landscape. In spring the roadsides light up with fresh green, in summer sunlight filters through the tree canopies and in autumn the forest turns into a palette of gold and red. Walk and cycle along quiet paths, breathe in the forest air and take your time to unwind. With a little luck, you might spot a deer or a wild boar along the way.

• The wood-fired hot tub takes 3 to 4 hours to heat up. Wood is ready at arrival. Your presence is required when lighting the fire. Instructions are available in the Berkenrhode app.
• The electric hot tub takes approximately 1.5 hours to heat up. It will already be switched on upon arrival. Instructions are available in the Berkenrhode app.
• The hot tub does not have a bubble function.
• The hot tub cannot be used on the day of departure.
• The sauna takes 1 to 2 hours to heat up. Instructions are available in the Berkenrhode app.
• The lodge is located in the Heide Heuvel area or elsewhere on the park. A preferred location can be booked at an additional cost.
• Garden layout, interior design and colour scheme may differ from the website images. The level of comfort is the same for every lodge.
• The outdoor fireplace is a decorative feature and may not be used.
