Arrive, unpack and step straight into the sauna

The Berken Lodge met Hottub & Sauna | 4 personen is a detached holiday home where tranquillity and comfort go hand in hand. Outside, your own hot tub is waiting. Inside, the sauna is ready to warm you up. Two bedrooms with comfortable box spring beds sleep four guests. In one room the beds are placed together, in the other they are set apart. The spacious living room features an electric feature fireplace that gives the evenings a warm and cosy atmosphere. Outside you will also find a fireplace, but please note that this is a decorative one and not intended for use. The lodge is fully gas-free and built sustainably, so you can relax with a clear conscience as well.

The open-plan kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, dishwasher, combination microwave and fridge-freezer, everything you need for a carefree stay. On the generously furnished terrace you can enjoy your morning coffee while the hot tub warms up. Staying connected is easy thanks to free WiFi and a Smart TV with streaming function for those evenings when the outdoors can wait. The lodge has its own parking space, and pets are very welcome. You can bring up to two pets, although locations BL012 and BL126 are pet-free. The layout, interior and colour scheme of the specific lodge you book may differ from the photos on the website, but the level of comfort and quality is always the same.

Park Berkenrhode: small-scale, welcoming and surrounded by nature

Park Berkenrhode is a small-scale holiday park on the edge of the Veluwe forests. The park radiates calm and personal attention. No crowds or mass tourism here, just an environment where you can truly slow down. From the park you can walk or cycle straight into nature. Bikes are available to hire on site, along with e-choppers, electric scooters and mobility scooters. After a day outdoors, Brasserie Luwe is the perfect place to sit down for lunch, drinks or dinner in a welcoming setting. Thoughtful extras like the breakfast and bread roll service and sharing boards make your stay just that little bit easier and more enjoyable.

Veluwe: forests, silence and fresh air on your doorstep

The Veluwe is one of the most beautiful natural areas in the Netherlands, and you are right in the middle of it. Endless forests, open heathlands and sand drifts change with the seasons. In spring everything turns a fresh shade of green, in summer the canopy provides welcome shade, and in autumn the forest transforms into a sea of orange and red. Walking and cycling routes start virtually from the park itself, and if you are lucky, you might spot a deer or a group of wild boar along the way. Nature here asks nothing of you, except that you take a moment to look.

• Locations can be booked with preference costs.
• The layout, interior and colour scheme of the lodge you choose may differ from the images shown on the website. The level of comfort and quality is always the same.
• Pets are welcome (maximum 2). Locations BL012 and BL126 are pet-free.
• The wood-fired hot tub takes 3 to 4 hours to heat up. Wood is ready for you on arrival. Your presence is required when lighting the hot tub. Instructions can be found in the Berkenrhode app.
• The electric hot tub takes approximately 1.5 hours to heat up. On arrival it will already be switched on for you. Instructions can be found in the Berkenrhode app.
• Please note: neither the wood-fired nor the electric hot tub has a bubble function.
• The hot tub cannot be used on your day of departure.
• The sauna takes 1 to 2 hours to heat up. Instructions can be found in the Berkenrhode app.
• Smoking, the use of a gourmet grill and fondue are not permitted in the Berken Lodge met Hottub & Sauna | 4 personen.
• The outdoor fireplace is decorative and may not be used.
• The lodge features a water-saving shower head and is fully gas-free (sustainable home).
