The De Valouwe nature reserve borders Park Berkenrhode directly. Several entrances from the park lead straight into the woods. Choose one of the many walking routes nearby or create your own route.

The most beautiful hiking routes

From Park Berkenrhode, you can walk straight into the De Valouwe nature reserve. Follow the forest paths, listen to the birds and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. With a little luck, you may spot a deer or wild boar along the way. Always keep a safe distance and give the animals plenty of space.

Clog trails

Discover the Veluwe countryside along the Klompenpaden: walking routes across farmland, country estates and nature reserves. The 12-kilometre Beek- en Bultpad even passes through Park Berkenrhode. The route takes you past historic farmland, along unpaved paths and across the Wekeromse Bult, with views over the Gelderse Vallei. Wear sturdy footwear, as parts of the trail are unpaved and may become muddy. Dogs are not permitted on the Beek- en Bultpad, even when kept on a lead.
